They have a life that ducks could only dream of. They walk the red carpet of the Peabody Hotel twice a day surrounded by fans from all over the world. Living the life of luxury in the marble fountain in the center of the famed hotel lobby, these ducks take it in stride. The tradition was started 75 years ago when the General Manager of the Peabody Hotel left some decoy ducks in the fountain overnight. That next morning, all eyes were on the ducks. So the tradition continues with five ducks led by the Duckmaster from their penthouse suite on the roof to marble fountain fresh with a waterfall.
